Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 10: It Went By So Fast: Review

The end of an era! Took everything in me not to start bawling! The episode was the true end of the Arrowverse, not The Flash!

Superman and the Twins taking on Doomsday was so epic! I loved it when Steel nailed Doomsday with his hammer as well! I loved how Doomsday chose to sacrifice himself as well. Bizarro had a tragic backstory, and I'm glad that they didn't change the fact that he was Superman at one point.

Lois and Clark taking on Lex Luthor was such a satisfying battle! Loved how frustrated Lois managed to make Lex, and that comment about Clark beating Lex without his powers was so satisfying. Clark finishing off Lex was a perfect way to end the battle!

Lana and John Henry Irons getting married was something I did not see coming! I loved that Clark was the one who walked her down the aisle, and I almost laughed when I found out that it was Lois who officiated their wedding, and her comment about where she got her license to do it was so funny.

Kyle and Chrissy arriving at the wedding with their son was such a sweet moment. I was shocked to find out that she was pregnant again. Loved the final scene between Kyle and Lana, glad they ended both their story lines on good terms.

Jordan and Sarah's final interaction was a perfect scene. Loved that Sarah genuinely wanted to know if Jordan was at peace with his life, and I'm glad that Jordan said yes. I don't care what some people may say, I still think they ended up reconciling their relationship.

Clark narrating that he and Lois started trying to save the world via other ways felt so right. Loved that Clark and Lois also opened up a foundation that they named after her father. Nearly teared up during that scene.

Clark making suits for Jordan and Jonathan was a long time coming! I loved that they got one shot of them wearing their suits, and that John Henry Irons and Natalie were in the background! That was a perfect final shot of Tyler wearing his Superman outfit.

Clark also revealing that Jordan, and Jonathan got married to their respective wives, and having 9 kids was such a huge shock! Loved seeing Clark and Lois get to be Grandparents, as they fit the role perfectly, as did the actors that were chosen to play older versions of Jordan and Jonathan. The actress playing Jordan's wife definitely looked like an older Sarah, and if that is the case, I'm glad they got a happy ending.

Clark also revealing that Lois ended up dying from cancer years later was such a shocking scene. I almost cried when Lois said her final words, "Daddy". That was such a tearjerker. Did not see that coming at all.

Clark getting a dog after Lois died was something else I never pictured would happen, loved that it was a normal dog, and that he named him Krypto. Krypto was such an adorable dog! I also liked that Lana would occasionally stop by and bring Clark an apple pie.

Clark having heart failure while walking with Kyle and Krypto was one of the saddest moments ever! I was glad that Kyle managed to save Clark, so he could see his boys again! They almost got me there! I was glad that he got that scene with Kyle, as I loved Kyle and Clark's friendship so much!

Clark dying peacefully is easily one of the saddest moments in TV history! Clark forgiving Lex Luthor in the afterlife was something that I didn't see coming, but it was a scene that continues to show why Superman is one of the best superheroes of all time.

Clark hugging younger Jordan and Jonathan in the afterlife sequence was such a great moment as well. I'm glad that Bishop and Garfin got one more scene with Tyler, as they were the heart of the show.

I was also glad that it showed Clark waving goodbye to John Henry Irons, Lana, Kyle, and Chrissy in the afterlife. They were all very good friends to him, and it felt like a true sendoff to the entire show.

The final shot of Clark reuniting with Lois in the afterlife was so emotional! I loved that Lois was wearing her iconic red dress that Clark bought for her, which was mentioned last season. The final words by Clark were so emotional, and it felt like a punch in the gut!

Tyler is easily a top 2 in portraying Superman, and Elizabeth Tulloch is easily the best portrayal of Lois Lane IMO. I will miss this show so much, but I'm glad it never went sour! Amazing writing and acting! Easily one of the best superhero shows of all time!!!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 9: To Live and Die Again: Review

Going to make this a quick review.

The penultimate episode of Superman & Lois sets the stage for the biggest fight of Superman's life.

The return of Doomsday was something I did not see coming! Loved how he got his final form, and I loved how quickly Luthor moved against Smallville.

I was glad that Bruno Manheim returned. Loved the small interaction between him and Lois!

Superman taking on Doomsday in the final minutes of the episode was so good! This show always makes me smile, and this final part was no exception.

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 8: Sharp Dressed Man: Review

Superman & Lois continues its hot trend this season

Lex Luthor challenging Lois Lane to debate him was so petty of him. I absolutely loved that Tom Cavanagh was cast as the talk show host. I had a gut feeling that Lex would pull up footage from his street fight with Clark to make himself look like a victim.

Candice breaking up with Jonathan was something I did not see coming. I was so glad that they were able to reconcile though, after he went to see her. I really like their chemistry, and I loved it when Jordan told Jonathan not to take relationship advice from him. I also love how Jordan is slowly starting to warm up to Candice.

Brainiac making his long awaited debut was so much different than I was expecting. I knew that guy that John and Natalie saved was suspicious, but I did not think he would be Brainiac. I love how he is a hacker, and considering the minimal number of episodes that there are this season, I'm glad they didn't try and go the comic book accurate route, because it would've felt rushed IMO.

I had a gut feeling that Lex was going to steal John's war suit, but I was more shocked that Jordan had to destroy Natalie's suit. Lex now has a suit that can kill Superman, so it is going to be interesting to see where this goes in the final 2 episodes!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 7: A Regular Guy: Review

Wow! Totally not the way I thought it was going to go!

The flashbacks scenes with Clark and Jimmy Olsen were really good! I felt so bad for Clark as it showed the burden of keeping his secret from his friend. But I also liked the fact that it made you feel for Jimmy also! Really good writing!

Chrissy and Kyle trying to find a house was a great story line! I loved the gift that Lois gave Kyle and Chrissy, and I lost it when part of it broke! Lois trying to assemble it was hilarious also! Them having money issues really reminded me of Spider-Man 2, and I was glad that Clark and Lois were able to help them buy their dream home!

Clark trying to convince everyone in Smallville that he isn't Superman was so cringy, but super funny at the same time! I completely understand why he was mad at the twins for telling Candice, but I did like how Jordan said that he didn't want the same thing that happened to him and Sarah to happen to Jordan and Candice! Really good conflict there!

Candice's father spilling the beans to the town and proving that Clark is Superman, was something I did not see coming! And Clark agreeing to tell the whole world that he is Superman is something I did not think would ever happen! Now the whole world knows!

I was really happy that Jimmy and Clark reconciled at the end of the episode! Love their friendship, and I'm glad he understood! Heck, I'm glad everyone in Smallville seems to understand!

Lex Luthor is now about to strike again! I am very curious as to what he will do now! He is going to try and discredit Lois and Clark, and it should be interesting to see how this plays out!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 6: When the Lights Come On: Review

Sorry this review is late, will try to do a longer review for the next one!

The 6th episode of Superman & Lois ups the stakes, while giving a character a great sendoff!

Lex coming for Lana was something I knew was gonna happen, but I was glad that Sarah was able to come in and save her mom! Lex is so ruthless, and I'm loving how relentless he is!

Sarah revealing that she is going to leave Smallville to study abroad was an emotional part of the episode! I am going to miss Sarah, but I'm glad she is getting a great sendoff. I still think her & Jordan will reconcile in the finale!

Superman fighting Lex in the street was one of the best scenes in the series! I loved how Clark was able to beat Lex, even without his powers! Great scene, and it explained the episode title as well LOL.

Lex getting reading to get his own suit is super exciting! Looking forward to seeing him battle against Superman again, but with more damage this time!

Loved the fact that Clark is catching on that more people know who he is, and that his hair is turning grey! Good moments like this are what makes this show special!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 5: Break the Cycle: Review

A Lex Luthor centered episode that works so perfectly, while advancing the story line so well!

Candice coming to Smallville to see Jonathan was such a stressful episode. I really thought she was going to break up with Jonathan, and then he would try to get her back, similar to what happened with Jordan and Sarah in season 2. But I am so glad that they did not go that route, but I was shocked that Jordan told her the truth. But I'm glad she understood, and reconciled with him. Jordan is being a hero in his own way!

Lex Luthor's flashbacks were so good! Loved that they showed that he really did try to be a good father to Elizabeth in the past. I'm glad they did humanize him also, and it was heartbreaking to see that final scene in the flashbacks when it showed him dropping his daughter off at school before he was arrested. Love that Superman was the one who took him in, now it really makes sense as to why he hates Superman also! Love it!

Elizabeth Luthor making her debut and reuniting with Lex was such good writing! Loved the conflict in both of them. While it was sad to see Lex choose revenge over getting to be involved in his daughter's (and future grandson's) life, it didn't surprise me in the slightest! That is just who Lex is, he values revenge over family! Elizabeth Henstridge did a great job as Elizabeth Luthor, and I doubt we have seen the last of her!

Lois confronting Bizarro/Doomsday was something I did not see coming at all! I kept wondering time, and time again how they would get rid of Doomsday, and this was absolutely perfect! They made him Bizarro for a reason, and now we know why! Lex's reaction to Doomsday being gone from the base was perfect! Loved seeing Lois drinking on her patio and telling Clark what happened! She was so proud of herself!

Lex Luthor will be out for blood next episode! I know he is going to target Lana & Sarah soon! It wouldn't surprise me if Sarah gets kidnapped by Lex's goons, and that is what draws Jordan to start using his powers again! And if that is the case, I hope Jordan saves Sarah, and they share a kiss and reconcile! Perfect way to get them back together!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 4: A Perfectly Good Wedding: Review

A filler episode that actually works so well!

Kyle & Chrissy planning their wedding was so funny. That diner scene between Kyle and Chrissy's mom was so awkward, that remark she made about Chrissy almost being the same age as Sarah was so classless, but funny at the same time. I have a gut feeling that Kyle & Chrissy will get married at the end of the season, after she gives birth.

Clark returning was so unexpected. I did not think he would come back until episode 6 at the earliest. His reunion with his family was so emotional, kind of wish we could've seen Lana and the Irons family's reaction. I am glad that they showed that Clark isn't 100% yet, good job on the writers for not making it so easy. Loved the scene where Clark was training Jonathan, and Jonathan (Unlike Jordan) understood the Star Wars reference Clark made.

Jordan's story line was well done. I absolutely loved his conversation with Sarah, I knew she would help him overcome the confidence problem he was having. It was also nice seeing them on friendly terms, compared to how they were at the end of last season. Jordan giving Jonathan his suit was a touching scene, love the dynamic between those 2.

The end with everyone just dancing inside of the barn was a great scene. Perfect song for that scene, and I loved seeing how happy everyone was. I was surprised to see how tall Sophie has gotten, the girl was even taller than Sarah now LOL. Loved seeing Sarah and Jordan dance together also (I still think they will reconcile by the end of the season), and it was charming to see Jonathan dancing with Sophie, since they have a special bond that was shown last season.

I have a gut feeling that the show will now get very serious. Lex will now send Doomsday after Clark and the family again. They need to find a way to kill Doomsday, and to do it soon! So looking forward to it! Love this show!!!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 3: Always My Hero: Review

Quick review because I've been so busy lately.

The 3rd episode of the final season of Superman & Lois changes the game in so many ways!!

I did not expect Sam to die the way he did, but he went out like a true hero.

I was so shocked to see Jonathan get powers! I really feel bad for Jordan though, he feels like everything is his fault, and Luthor didn't help things either with that video recording LOL.

So looking forward to seeing how this season concludes. Only a matter of time before Superman comes back into the fold!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 2: A World Without: Review

Another amazing episode!!!

Lex Luthor is now my favorite villain of the franchise! Cold, a man of his word, and extremely dangerous!

I have no idea where they go from here! I could totally see either Jordan giving up his heart to save his dad, or Tal-Rho returning and giving up his heart to save Superman. Should be interesting!

Lana and Sarah better be careful, Lex is now after them!

I am so curious as to what Lex has planned for Smallville. He is buying up property, and he obviously plans on taking it over. I wouldn't be surprised if he tries destroying the town at this point.

Lex also looking for his daughter is an interesting story line. I am curious what her role will be in all this, and how she might end up helping them take him down.

Love this show!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 1: The End & The Beginning: Review

Holy cow!!!!! The premier of the final season of Superman & Lois is easily the best premier of the series!

I have 2 episodes to write, so I am going to make it shorter. Wow! Lex Luthor might already be my favorite villain of the series. Michael Cudlitz has dominated every scene that he has been in! Those 2 scenes with him & Lois, and the one with him and the boys were amazing scenes!

Superman's death was so much more brutal than I was expecting! They pulled an adaptation of "The Death of Superman", which I called back in the 3rd season! Wonder how they are going to bring him back?

Wow! Great episode!!!!!

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 Episode 8: Shadow and Flame: Review

The season finale has me super excited for a third season!

The opening scene showing the Balrog was a great intro! I was shocked that King Durin III died, but I love that he went out in style! I do not think we have seen the last of the Balrog, and I really hope I'm right!

Celebrimbor's death scene was so sad. I knew he was going to die, but I was shocked at how brutal it was. I am going to miss his character, but I know that this is what needed to happen to move the story line forward.

Adar's death was so shocking! I knew he would die, but I did not expect the Orcs to turn on him so quickly. Looking back though, you could see the buildup to this happening! Sauron made sure Adar died the same way Adar tried killing him, poetic justice for Sauron!

The Stranger meeting the Dark Wizard was a great conclusion to his story line this season! I am curious as to where Nori and Poppy's story line will go from here, but I am looking forward to it! Loved that the Stranger was officially confirmed to be Gandalf, and that he got his staff! I am all but convinced at this point that the Dark Wizard is Saruman.

Elendil being forced to flee as anyone allied with the former Queen is accused of working with Sauron was not what I expected! I am looking forward to seeing Elendil eventually reunite with his son, Isildur, next season, and I really hope they get rid of the new ruler of their land! Loved that Elendil got the sword of Kings that Aragorn will use in the sequel!

Galadriel and Sauron's long awaited encounter was perfect! I loved the dialogue between them, and I am so glad that Sauron got the 9 rings for Men. The only question now is, who will Sauron give the rings to? Looking forward to seeing Sauron work the Orcs next season, and I really hope he gets his armor next season also. He should be forging his ring pretty soon also!

The final scene with Galadriel, Elrond, Gil-galad, and Arondir resolving to fight Sauron again was a perfect ending! It showed that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope, and strength! It sums up the entire franchise as well! Looking forward to season 3!

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 Episode 7: Doomed to Die: Review

The penultimate episode sees the Elves in their darkest hour.

Celebrimbor breaking free of Sauron's influence was amazing. Charles Edwards gave his best performance in this episode. I am so glad that the 9 rings for the race of Men are all complete. It is now only a matter of time before Sauron gets his hands on them.

The battle between the Orcs and the Elves was amazing. Instant flashbacks to The Two Towers & The Return of the King battle sequences. Really liked seeing how strategic Adar was with his Orcs, and I am loving how some of the Orcs are not liking the fact that Adar is risking so many of their lives just to kill Sauron. Sam Hazeldine has exceeded every expectation I had!

I am so curious if Durin IV will arrive with his army or not. If he doesn't show up, that will explain why, in the future, Elrond doesn't believe that Dwarves will come to help them destroy the Ring of Power. I know that Durin IV has a difficult decision to make, but you can't just leave Elrond like that. If he doesn't show, their friendship is over!

Galadriel is about to encounter Sauron again, and he will retrieve his 9 rings for Men! I am so looking forward to their interaction after almost a whole season of not seeing each other.

I do not believe that Arondir is dead, and I truly believe that he will get his revenge on Adar! If they aren't going to let Sauron kill Adar, then the one to kill him should be Arondir, as he deserves to after what he did to the people of the town that he was protecting! Sauron will get back control of the Orcs either in the next episode, or next season!

Dang it, I love this show!

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 Episode 6: "Where Is He?": Review

The board is set, the pieces are moving!

Sauron's story line was so well written. I love how he is able to continue to manipulate Celebrimbor. Sauron will have the 9 rings for the race of men soon, and I am very curious as to who he will give them to. Are they characters we have seen before, or just new characters altogether? Looking forward to finding out the answer.

Elendil's story line was amazing! I loved how loyal he was to his Queen, no matter what. The sea creature design was amazing also, the show's practical, and visual effects rival that of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy IMO. I loved the ending where Ar-Pharazon finds out, via the Palantir, that Halbrand is Sauron. I would love it if he is one of the 9 who receives one of the rings for men.

The Stranger's story line is quite interesting. I love all the callbacks they have to Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings series, and I am curious as to what will happen to Nori and Popppy. I am looking forward to the Stranger getting his staff also.

The Dwarves story line was amazing also. I love the conflict in Durin IV, as he wants to stop his father, but he still respects him also. I loved the scene where Sauron arrived and asked for more Mithril to help make more rings, but Durin III refused. I loved the quick scene where Sauron looked in the fire and saw a Balrog in it. Durin IV's wife, Disa, knew something ancient and evil was in those mines, and I am glad that it was revealed to be a Balrog. Sauron knows that the Dwarves are about to get attacked by one, and that smirk as he was leaving said so much. Sauron is 10 steps ahead of everyone, and I love it!

Adar proposing an alliance to Galadriel was a great scene. While I was initially hesitant about Sam Hazeldine replacing Joseph Mawle as Adar, Sam has managed to surpass Joseph. I loved the fact that Adar just got what he needed out of Galadriel, and now plans on destroying all of Eregion in order to make sure that Sauron stays dead. I loved how Galadriel was trying to warn Adar that he and the Orcs are walking right into Sauron's trap. Sauron is playing chess, while everyone else is playing checkers. I also loved the reveal that Sauron's crown which Adar stabbed him with in the first episode, was actually Morogoth's crown. Great reveal!

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 Episode 5: Halls of Stone: Review

After last week's disaster of an episode, this episode gets the series right back on track!

The ring corrupting Durin III was a great story line. I am loving this story line so much, and I am very curious as to how this will conclude this season. I feel so bad for Durin IV, he doesn't know what to do, and he knows there is something off with that ring. Love his character so much!

Sauron continuing to forge the rings, while corrupting Celebrimbor is the best part of the season. Now that we know who Sauron is, it is so great to see how Sauron is able to manipulate everything to go according to his plan. Loved the scene where one of the Elven smiths saw the eye of Sauron while testing out a ring. Great callback, and they had the door which was featured in the Fellowship of the Ring, which leads into the Mines of Moria. Great callbacks also.

The story line involving Elendil was a great story line. While Sauron may be the main villain of the entire series, Pharazon, and his supporters, are the main villains of this season. I was so satisfied when that one guy got his arm broken. I really hope Elendil or Isildur finishes him off by the end of the season.

The ending with Adar offering an alliance with Galadriel to destroy Sauron was a great ending. I am so curious to see what Galadriel does, as she knows Sauron has to be destroyed!

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 Episode 4: Eldest: Review

Episode 4 of the 2nd season of The Rings of Power is a huge misfire.

The story line involving the Stranger and the Harfoots was so boring. I came away with nothing in that episode. It didn't need to drag on as long as it did. The only interesting thing about that story line is finding out who the Dark Wizard is.

The story line involving Isildur & Arondir was badly paced also. They took way too much time just talking, and not actually moving along the story line for these 2. I did like the scene with the two Ents though. Really hope they pick it up soon.

The story line with Galadriel and Elrond was lackluster as well. The best part was the ending where Galadriel comes face to face with Adar once again. I am really looking forward to seeing them interact again. I did also like how much Elrond didn't trust Galadriel because of the ring she has, they are doing a great job at developing his character.

I really missed Sauron's presence, as he easily makes the show so much better. I also missed Durin IV, as his character is also a huge scene stealer also. They better pick it up, because that was a terrible episode.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 Episode 3: The Eagle and the Sceptre: Review

Another great episode that continues to build up the threat that is rising.

I was glad to see Arondir return, but I was shocked to find out that Bronwyn died. A dark fate that I never saw coming, but I'm glad they have added more stakes for these characters.

Isildur returning was long overdue. I knew he couldn't be dead, as his character is important to the story line for the Lord of the Rings Books. I am curious as to what the endgame is for the girl, Estrid, that he found in the woods. She had the mark of Adar on her neck, but she did try getting rid of it. I'm wondering if she is a spy, or a survivor? I loved that the Ents arrived at the end also.

Sauron helping make the Rings for the Dwarf lords is so satisfying. I am looking forward to seeing him craft the 9 rings for the race of men also. I am also loving how influential Sauron has become to Celebrimbor, and it continues to remind me of Anakin and Palpatine from Star Wars, in a great way.

Miriel's story line is intriguing. I have no idea where it is going, and to what end Isildur and his father are involved. I am hoping that the place Isildur is, is where Gondor will be built, they certainly seemed to tease that that will be the case.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 Episode 2: Where the Stars Are Strange: Review

The 2nd episode of the season sets the pieces in place for the creation of the Rings of Power.

The Wizard and the Hobbits being tracked by the evil ladies that hunted the Wizard in the first season is intriguing. I am wondering who the dark Wizard is, and what his connection to the main Wizard is. The henchman had the eye of Sauron on their flags, so they obviously have some sort of connection to him.

Sauron deceiving Celebrimbor into helping him make the Rings of Power was such a great story line. Charlie Vickers has crushed it as the dark lord Sauron. His performance reminds me so much of Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars. I am so looking forward to Galadriel and Elrond encountering him again!

The story line involving the Dwarves was interesting. I love Owain Arthur's performance as Durin IV, and hope to see him reunite with Elrond on screen again. The ending with them about to get their rings forged is so exciting! Love the continued buildup to the Rings being received by all of the races!

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 Episode 1: Elven Kings Under the Sky: Review

The premier of the 2nd season The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power opens with a huge banger!

The story line involving Elrond trying to destroy the rings after finding out that Halbrand was Sauron was a great story line. It helped understand why Elrond has a vendetta against Sauron, and why he knew the rings were nothing but bad news.

Sauron's story line was amazing! Loved the opening flashback sequence we got, and I am looking forward to watching more of Sauron's development. Sam Haeldine isn't bad as Adar, but I really do miss Joseph Mawle's performance as Adar, as he had more of a presence about him.

The story line involving the Wizard and the Harfoots is shaping up to be an interesting story line. I wonder if this wizard might end up meeting Saruman in the future! We shall see.
