Stargirl: Season 1 Review

Stargirl is a surprisingly well written superhero tv show, that outdoes every season of The Flash and Arrow.

The story line was brilliant, due to its strong emotion, well done characterization, and its villains. Icicle, Brainwave, and Sportsmaster and Tigress were very well written villains, and they managed to steal most of the scenes that they were in. The overall goal of the villains was understandable, but still very evil at the same time.

The acting in the show was excellent as well. The standouts were Christopher James Baker as Brainwave, Neil Jackson as Icicle, Brec Bassinger as Stargirl, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan, Neil Hopkins as Sportsmaster, and Yvette Monreal as Wildcat. Whoever hired this people needs a raise. I was very impressed with all the cast as well, and hope that they do well in the next season.

I have very high hopes for the 2nd season, and I really hope that the CW network does not mess it up, like they did with The Flash season 3 and season 6, Arrow season 4. They need to keep this same tone with the show, and not make it anymore lighthearted.

Overall, Stargirl is a huge surprise for the superhero genre, and it delivers on everything that it offered, and it will thrill fans of the genre, and make them super excited for season 2.

Out of 100% I would give it...

97% out of 100%
