Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy: Siege: Review

Netflix's Transformers series is much better than I was expecting.

The story line was much better than I was expecting, as it was very dark and deep. I was glad that they had Megatron's backstory, and I loved Jetfire's story arc. I hope that the next season is just as dark and deep, and I hope to see more action scenes. The pacing was my only problem, Netflix has a huge problem with this, and they need to rectify it.

The action scenes were solid, and more brutal then I was expecting. I really want to see more next season, and then have Megatron and Optimus Prime go head to head.

The characterization was great as well. I loved Jetfire, Megatron, Soundwave, Shockwave, and Starscream the most. Starscream was written perfectly, and I was not disappointed like I thought I would be. The voice acting for all of them was spectacular as well.

Overall, while suffering from its horrid pacing, War For Cybertron: Siege delivers on the dark tone, solid action scenes, strong characterization, a surprisingly deep story line, and spectacular voice acting that will thrill longtime fans of the franchise.

Out of a 100% I would give it...

75% out of 100%
