My Review of "Arrow: Season 7 Episode 20: Confessions"

A late plot twist is not enough to save the episode.

Them talking about there different sides of the story was repetitive, super annoying and boring. It also has done very little to advance the story line, but now I'm feeling like there is nothing left to tell at this point. The action scenes were not well done also.

The cast did well, Juliana Harkavy really had me going for a while. Colton Haynes returning was a strong point as well. The cast's chemistry with each other was great as well.

The reveal that Roy had died and they used a form of Lazarus pit to resurrect him was a great plot twist. The reveal that he killed two innocent men was a huge surprise as well.

Emiko, you are dead meat. Telling Oliver that you were somewhat responsible for the death of his father was a poor mistake on your part, goodbye Emiko.

Overall, despite a jaw dropping plot twist and strong performances from the cast, tonight's episode of Arrow suffers from an annoying central plot line, a cliche reveal of what Emiko plans to do, failing to make Emiko a threat, and poor action scenes, making this another disappointing episode.

Out of 4 stars I would give it...

2.5 out of 4 stars
