Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Season 3 Episode 4: A Different Approach: Review

While I thought it was going to be a boring filler episode, it advanced the plot more than I was expecting.

I loved the dynamic between Crosshairs and Omega, since we never really saw them interact in the first season. I am so glad that the group was able to reunite at the end also. I know that Hunter and Wrecker are going to be at odds with Crosshairs, due to the fact that the last time they saw each other, Crosshairs abandoned them. They will eventually put aside their differences, but it will be a long road to recovery.

I'm not sure if Crosshairs knows what happened to Tech. His reaction will be interesting. I am so looking forward to seeing if Tech is still alive.

Star Wars the Bad Batch: Season 3 Episode 3: Shadows of Tantiss: Review

Wow! Episode 3 of The Bad Batch delivers on the action scenes, while teasing where this season is about to go, in terms of Doctor Hemlock's secret project! So great to here Ian reprise his role as Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious as well.

Based on the ending, it looks like Hemlock will be hiring Bounty Hunters to find Omega. Cad Bane and Fennec Shand I know are returning, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Boba Fett arrive either.

I did not expect Omega and Crosshairs to escape in this episode. I am so looking forward to seeing them reunite with Wrecker and Hunter.

I am pretty sure that "Project Necromancer" has something to do with Snoke. I was so bummed when they didn't show what was inside of the tank that Hemlock was showing Palpatine. But, I am pretty sure that it was Snoke, or some kind of clone of Emperor Palpatine, which is how this series will tie into "The Rise of Skywalker". It would be hilarious though if this was somehow related to Starkiller or Darth Plagueis. Talk about huge misdirection.

I wonder why Omega's blood is so important for "Project Necromancer". Is there something about her that is different? Does she have the force maybe? I am looking forward to seeing how they answer this question in the coming future!

One more thing. One of those Clones in the lab, his armor looked very similar to Tech's. I wonder if he is still alive! Should be interesting!

Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Season 3 Episode 2: Paths Unknown: Review

While suffering from being pretty predictable, The Bad Batch's 2nd episode delivers on the new creepy creature, introducing new clones, and bringing back Daniel Logan into the fold.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Season 3 Episode 1: Confined: Review

The first episode of the final season of The Bad Batch sets the stage for the mystery surrounding the work that the Empire is trying to accomplish, even if it doesn't get the ball rolling fast enough. Kind of weird that the rest of the Bad Batch were not in this episode.

Quick Update

I will no longer be doing a version of the Emmy's on this website. I am running out of shows to review, and it is not as fun to do this, as it is with the Action Awards.

Ahsoka: Season 1 Episode 8: The Jedi, the Witch, and the Warlord: Review

Ahsoka's season, or potentially series, finale hits the right notes, and sets up an Heir to the Empire film! That has to be the movie Dave Filoni is working on.

The reveal that Baylan is looking for Mortis came as a shock to me! I did not expect Mortis to come back into play. Really hope to see Sam Witwer portray The Son again, as he is too good of an actor to not bring back, and he would be the perfect antagonist for Luke.

Thrawn escaping was something I totally knew was going to happen. Looking forward to seeing him make his presence known to the New Republic.

I am curious to see what kind of role the Nightsisters are going to play in the future is going to be very interesting. They are a major threat, and are not to be underestimated.

Shin Hati has a curious path ahead of her. I am interested in seeing if she returns in Heir to the Empire. It would not surprise me if she is going to be kind of like Mara Jade, from the Legends universe.

I was surprised that Ezra made it back home, but what surprised me more was that he got to reunite with Hera. He is going to be surprised when he meets her and Kanan's son.

I am curious to see if Ahsoka and Sabine will find their way back home. I have a feeling that their return will either involve Mortis, or Luke and Leia. Should be very interesting.

The last shot of Anakin watching over Ahsoka was a perfect callback to when Ahsoka left the Jedi Order. Hayden Christensen is such a good actor, and I am looking forward to seeing more of him in future Star Wars content!

Dave Filoni, you did it! Now don't screw up on Heir to the Empire.
