The Mandalorian: Season 2 Episode 5: The Jedi: Review

The fan favorite character returns in the best episode of the Mandalorian.

The story line was spectacular, and the episodes just keep getting better and better. This episodes action scenes were spectacular, and you could really tell that Dave Filoni directed this episode. Disney, keep it up.

Rosario Dawson absolutely crushed it as Ahsoka Tano. She captured the mannerisms of Ahsoka perfectly, and she was easily the best part about this episode.

The reveal that Ahsoka is looking for Grand Admiral Thrawn made me geek out. It also means that Ezra Bridger, and Sabine Wren might be showing up at some point. I also believe that Luke is going to appear at some point as well.

This episode shows how passionate Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are about this franchise, and I hope that they continue to have their way with this show.

Overall, episode 5 is a fan service episode done right, and features the return of the best character from the Clone Wars, and this is easily the best episode of the series.

The Mandalorian: Season 2 Episode 4: The Siege

While I thought this would be another dumb filler episode, this episode is surprisingly better than last week's!

The story line had some great callbacks to the original trilogy, and I loved the return of Cara Dune and Greef Karga. The scene where they found those dead experimental bodies in a tank just raised some whole new questions about what they want with Baby Yoda, and I love it.

It really looks like they are trying to use Baby Yoda's blood to either make their own army of force sensitive troops, or they will end up creating Snoke or resurrecting Palpatine with his blood. Either way, I love any of these theories.

I really think that Ahsoka will be returning next week, and I am excited to see it. Disney is doing well, they just need to keep advancing the plot like they did in this week's episode.

Overall, episode 4 of Mandalorian advances the plot well, and features the return of some great characters, to deliver their best episode of the series.

The Mandalorian: Season 2 Episode 3: The Heiress: Review

After coming off the worst episode of Mandalorian, it returns with the best episode of the series.

The story line was exactly what I was looking for, an episode that advances the plot. and features plenty of buildups, and the characters that everyone is looking for. Katee Sackhoff's arrival as Bo-Katan was spectacular, and the action scenes were spectacular.

Moff Gideon's small return was a long time coming, I am really hoping that they keep advancing the plot like this, while also revealing what Moff Gideon wants with Baby Yoda.

Bo telling The Mandalorian to look for Ahsoka at the end of the episode made me geek out. I am so interested to see how Rosario Dawson handles this character

Overall, episode 3 of the Mandalorian is the best of the series, due to its Easter eggs, return of a Clone Wars character, and great action scenes.

The Mandalorian: Season 2 Episode 2: The Passenger: Review

 Quick review.

The episode is easily the worst of the series, due to its slow pace, lack of advancement to the plot, and boring new character. The only good thing about it is the new creature that they show and Baby Yoda. Terrible episode.

Out of a 10 I would give it...

The Mandalorian: Season 2 Episode 1: The Marshal: Review

Season 2 of the Mandalorian kicks off with a fun and exciting, but not perfect, episode that shows plenty of potential.

The story line definitely had a western feel to it again, which is something I really love about this show. The episode also had some great characterization, and plenty of Easter eggs to go with it, which was neat. I hope though that they get back to the main story line very soon.

The introduction to Cobb Vanth, who wears Boba Fett's armor, was something I saw coming, but not as early as it did. I loved Timothy Olyphant's performance, and I really hope that he comes back in the future.

The ending was neat as it featured the return of Boba Fett. I really hope that he makes more appearances in the future.

Overall, while it feels like a filler episode, it benefits from its fun, and excitement that will thrill longtime fans of the franchise.

Out of a 10 I would give it...
