Gotham Knights: Season 1: Review

Gotham Knights, a show I had no expectations for, and it surprised the heck out of me. But the LGBT content bothered the heck out of me!

The story line was very intriguing and hooked me immediately! I was so glad to see that the Court of Owls was well written! The way the team had to overcome their differences and work together was great as well! I loved seeing Harvey's descent into Two-Face as well! Again the LGBT content was the only think I had a major problem with!

The characterization was solid! Duela and Harvey Dent were easily the best written characters. I was also glad that they made the Court of Owls a major threat, and not just a Saturday morning cartoon kind of villain!

The acting got better as the series went on! Olivia Rose Keegan stole the show as Duela. That lady has a very bright future ahead of her! Misha Collins surprised me with his dual performance as Harvey Dent and Two-Face! Oscar Morgan's acting got much better as the season went on!

There was a lot they could have done for a future season! I was so sad that the show ended on a major cliffhanger! I really hope that MAX or Amazon Prime picks it up! I want to see more of Two-Face, and Duela and Turner! I am not giving up hope!

Superman & Lois: Season 3: Review

Superman & Lois' third season is a major step up from the 2nd season, and is on par with the first season!

The main story lines this season, involving Bruno, and Lois' cancer, were so well written. Loved the heart that they had to them, and they were so well written and paced! Bruno and Lex were great villains, but Tal-Rho still has the edge over both of them. They were both miles ahead of Parasite though!

I was really glad that they saved the Lex Luthor story line for the end! I loved the characterization of this Lex Luthor, a very different portrayal of the character! I was also really glad that Doomsday arrived at the end! The last 2 episodes were so good, and they have set up a forth season that could be even more amazing.

The character development was amazing! Loved Kyle's character development, and the fact that he was able to replace Lana with a better lady for him! Jordan's characterization this season surprised me! I was not expecting him to get full of himself! Sarah's character took a much different turn than I was expecting! I was not expecting her and Jordan to be at each other's throats the way they were. I am hopeful that they will reconcile in the future! I was glad that they gave Jonathan something to do, and being a firefighter is perfect for him! Natalie really grew on me this season, and I can now say she is one of my favorite characters on the show.

The acting was amazing! Tyler Hoechlin continues to make a case as the best actor to portray Superman! Elizabeth Tulloch has officially certified herself as the best Lois Lane! Alex Garfin continues to play Jordan to perfection. Michael Cudlitz's portrayal of Lex Luthor was easily the most intimidating one yet! While it took me some time to get used to Jordan Elsass not being around as Jonathan, Michael Bishop did a great job, and made me forget about him very quickly. Erik Valdez and Sofia Hasmik's chemistry was something I did not see coming, but I loved every second of it!

I am so glad that they did not cancel the show! They still have enough material for at least 2 more seasons! I really believe that next season will adapt The Death of Superman and the Reign of the Supermen comics! If Superman does die next season, it will be interesting to see how long he stays dead, and how the Kents will handle him being gone!

I am very sad that the majority of the cast is not returning next season! I know that Sarah and Kyle are returning, but it will be sad to not see them all the time. I really hope Chrissy returns also, and gets parenting advice from Lois. I am also holding my breath for the return of Tal-Rho!

If this show does adapt the Death of Superman, and the Reign of the Supermen story lines next season, and if they get a 5th season, I want to see Darkseid and his legion be the final villains of the season! Perfect way to end it!

The Flash: Season 9: Review

While suffering from the same issues as previous seasons, Flash's final season has plenty of heart to it, and sends this long lasting show out on a mostly satisfying note!

The Red Death story line was good, IMO. I loved how unsettling Red Death was! Javicia Leslie did a much better job than I was expecting!

The next three episodes after that were so bad, and one of them was easily the worst episode of the entire show! It was such a shame that they had to have filler episodes put into the last season!

The Green Arrow episode was so amazing! I loved seeing Stephen Amell return as Oliver Queen! He did an amazing job! That episode had so much heart to it!

The Cobalt Blue story line was so emotional, if very anti-climatic! I wish they had more episodes that involved Cobalt Blue, and didn't waste Reverse-Flash, Savitar, Zoom, and Godspeed! But in the end, I got Eddie back as Cobalt Blue, and Rick Cosnett knocked it out of the park with his performance. The episode with Reverse-Flash and Barry traveling back in time was easily the best episode of the entire show! So glad that finally gave us that moment!

The acting was good once again. Grant Gustin gave some of his best performances in this season! Really going to miss him as Barry Allen! Matt Letscher, despite only having 1 episode, continued to show why he was the most underrated actor on the show! Danielle Panabaker also knocked it out of the park with her performance. Rick Cosnett's portrayal of Cobalt Blue was amazing as well, glad he got to portray him one more time before the show ended!

While I wish that the show could have gotten the tenth season, mainly because the concept looked amazing, I feel that it was time for the show to end! It had run its course!

The Mandalorian: Season 3: Review

While lacking the fan-service of the 2nd season, the third season of Mandalorian is much better paced than the previous 2 seasons!

The story line, as I put above, was so much better paced. I was really glad that they did not waste any time having Din get to Mandalore and being redeemed. I was also glad that they had all of the Mandalorians play a huge role in this! I was also really glad that Bo-Katan got the Darksaber back, as it suits her better. I was sad though when the saber was destroyed. I do wish they had more cameos from past Star Wars characters though!

The character development was good! Din has come a long way since the first season! I was also really glad that Bo-Katan got a lot more character development! Not much else to say!

The acting was great! Katee Sackhoff stole the show as Bo-Katan, and I enjoyed every second of it! While having a small role, Giancarlo Esposito once again did a brilliant job as Moff Gideon. Honestly, these are the only 2 actors I can really talk about, since they weren't wearing helmets LOL.

I am curious to see where the show goes from here. This could've easily been the last season, but I have a gut feeling they will surprise me with the story line next season. I do not believe that Moff Gideon is gone, and I think he will return next season! I am also hoping to see Boba Fett return, since it looks like he will not be getting a 2nd season (Which sucks!).

I was also excited that they teased the Ahsoka series! Really looking forward to that one. They are also teasing an adaptation of Heir to the Empire, which is rumored to be Dave Filoni's project! If that is the case, that could be one of the best Star Wars films ever!

Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Season 2: Review

While having too many fillers, when Bad Batch had a focused story line, it had a lot of great moments!

The story line was the major flaw of this show! While It had a lot of great moments and story lines that were very impactful, it also had quite a few fillers that were very lackluster and added nothing new or interesting to the plot! Luckily, the season had more good story lines than it did bad ones. The decision to kill Tech was a huge surprise!

The character development was hit or miss a lot of times. Crosshairs was the only one that I felt had a lot of impactful character development! I was really glad that he turned on the Empire in a way that did not feel forced! Omega had some character development also, and I am very certain that she will get a lot more development in their last season.

The voice acting was great as usual. Dee Bradley Baker still does a great job at playing a bunch of different roles. Jimmi Simpson, while having a very limited role, had a presence about him that was unsettling! Ian McDiarmid, while only having one scene, easily stole the show as Emperor Palpatine! Ian has not lost his touch at all!

I am kind of glad that the next season will be their last season, mainly because it feels like it would end up getting repetitive in the end. I am curious to see how all of this ends, and who makes it out alive! I have a gut feeling that Omega will be the only Clone to make it out alive! I am hoping that Vader makes an appearance, and is the one who takes down the Bad Batch!

Stargirl: Season 3: Review

Stargirl's final season ends on a great note, and solidifies itself as the best DC show ever!

The story line involving a murder mystery was a genius idea! The plot had so many twists and turns, and it was hard to guess what would end up happening next! I was so glad that they brought back Icicle and Dragon King, as I really enjoyed them a lot in the first season. The pacing was not an issue at all, every season never had a pacing issue!

The character development was great also! Cindy's character development really stood out this season. I was really glad that Mike and Jakeem got to do a lot more this season also. Courtney had a lot more characterization than I was expecting! While limited, I loved the Crocks' characterization this season as well!

Acting was once again amazing! Brec Bassinger continues to be charming as Courtney/Stargirl! Meg DeLacy brought a lot of heart to her role as Cindy! Yvette Monreal continued to be her usual sassy self, while contributing a lot of heart as well. Neil Hopkins and Joy Osmanski once again stole the show as Sportsmaster and Tigress. Joel McHale's dual performance was absolutely amazing as well, great actor who kept you guessing!

The ending was so emotional! I was not quite ready to say goodbye to this show, but at least it ended on a great note! There were so many other stories to tell, but I am glad that it stayed consistent, and never really had a bad episode! It entertained me in so many ways, and I will always be grateful to have this show!

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 1: Review

The Rings of Power's 1st season sets the tone, while setting up a potentially thrilling new show!

The multiple story lines felt like they were inspired by all of the different story lines that were in the original Lord of the Rings movies. I was impressed at how they managed to keep my attention, despite the pacing being a bit of an issue at times. The story line had a lot of twists to it, and I am happy with what they accomplished this season, as it set up some interesting story lines for the 2nd season.

The character development was great. Loved Adar's development, and how they made him a different kind of Lord of the Rings villain! I also liked Galadriel's development, this was done of purpose so that they will develop her into the Elf that she becomes in the Lord of the Rings books! Sauron's character was definitely not what I was expecting. I am really looking forward to see him have a bigger role in the 2nd season!

Despite not knowing a lot of these actors, I was very impressed! Joseph Mawle absolutely stole the show as Adar, and I am very sad that he is not returning for the 2nd season, as I wanted to see him and Charlie Vickers (Sauron) go at it in the 2nd season! Charlie Vickers did a great job at how he portrayed Sauron. I honestly did not even think that he was going to be Sauron until a saw a fan theory! Hopefully the acting stays good in the 2nd season.

The makeup on the Orcs looked amazing! I was glad they went back to the style used for the Lord of the Rings movies, and not just pure CGI. You could really make a case and say that the Orcs looked better in this than they did in the movies.

For the 2nd season, I know that Sauron is going to have a much bigger role, and that excites me because we will be getting more flashback scenes from the looks of it. I am also looking forward to seeing the formation of the rest of the rings. I know that this show will probably end with the battle at Mordor, where Sauron is defeated, and the ring is taken from him. That would be the perfect ending for this show!

Cobra Kai: Season 5: Review

Easily their best, as it sets up the final season!

The story line this season had so much heart to it, and had a lot of twists that I was not expecting! I am so glad that it looks like they have resolved the drama between a lot of the characters going forward. I was so glad that they focused on Daniel's rivalry with Terry, and didn't put the teenage drama front and center. The pacing in this show was very well done also!

Character development wise, I was impressed. The way the shows writes these characters always surprises me, mainly because of how unpredictable it is. Mike Barnes was the best example of this! I expected him to be a bad guy, but I loved the twist with his character. I really hope that they keep this up going into next season.

Once again, the acting was amazing! The standouts this season were Yuji Okumoto as Chozen, and Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver. Martin Kove and Sean Kanan, while having limited screen time, absolutely nailed it as John Kreese and Mike Barnes. I really hope that Mike returns for a bigger role next season! Once again, the actors playing the teenagers did great jobs! William Zabka and Ralph Macchio also did great jobs again this season.

The action scenes were again some of the best action scenes on Tv. The standout fights this season were Robby Vs Miguel, Terry Silver Vs Daniel LaRusso (Apartment Fight), Terry Silver Vs Chozen, and the egg fight involving Chozen and the kids. Well done!

In terms of their last season, there is a lot I hope to see! Some of the things involve a fight between Terry Silver and John Kreese, the return of Johnny's friends (Including Dutch), the return of Julie Pierce, and Kreese taking back control of Cobra Kai. So excited to see what they have planned!

Superman & Lois: Season 1 Episode 13: What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger: Review

I called it!!!!! I knew it!!! Doomsday did arrive! Loved Doomsday design (Even though Zack Snyder's is still better! #SellSnyderVerseToNetflix!)

The finale of Superman & Lois' 3rd season almost ends exactly how I thought it would! I was really expecting to see Superman die at the end of the episode, but I have a gut feeling they are saving that for next season! And then when Superman is resurrected, he will wear his black suit! Perfect callback to the comics!

I am so sad that they are cutting back on the supporting cast! I know that Sarah and Kyle are returning, but I am sad that Dylan Walsh is not returning! They seemed to hint that he is dead! I am also hoping Chrissy comes back, since they announced that she is pregnant. It would be fun to see her asking Lois about what it was like being a parent!

I am hoping that next season is their last season, mainly because I feel that you won't need to do a whole other season after next season, unless it ends on a cliffhanger also LOL

Love this show so much, and I am glad that it did not end the way it could've! Still lots to tell for Lex Luthor, Superman, Lois, Kyle and Chrissy, Jonathan, and Jordan and Sarah!

Gotham Knights: Season 1 Episode 13: Night of the Owls: Review

Okay, now I am upset that the show is cancelled! I cannot believe they had that twist with Turner! I was expecting the episode to end with Turner and the Knights getting ready to protect the city again! I was not expecting Henri Ducard to arrive!

Harvey's turn to Two-Face was amazing! Misha Collins knocked it out of the park as Harvey Dent/Two-Face! Another reason why I am upset that we are not getting a 2nd season! Maybe the series will get picked up by MAX, or Amazon Prime Video!

Amazing series that exceeded my expectations! Loved the chemistry and dynamic of the characters, and I hope we get another season! Even if it is just 1 more season! They saved Young Justice at one point, so never say never!

Gotham Knights: Season 1 Episode 12: City of Owls: Review

First off, I did hear that this show was cancelled. I have mixed feelings about it getting cancelled. I am kind of happy in one sense, because it might get more ruined next season. But I am kind of sad at the same time, because I wanted to see Harvey Dent be the main villain next season, and I wanted to see more of Duela and Turner. Maybe the show will get picked up somewhere else! We shall see!

Anyway, tonight's penultimate episode of Gotham Knights delivers on the surprising plot twists that I did not see coming, setting up the final battle between the Talons and the Gotham Knights, continuing to tease the arrival of Two-Face (Which, again, is one of the reasons why I am sad that this show is ending), and strong performances from the cast!

There was a cringy scene at one point between Stephanie and Harper that just ruined it between for me.

Olivia Rose Keegan has a bright future ahead of her. The way that she can act with her eyes is amazing! I am looking forward to seeing her and Turner reunite, and hopefully they reconcile! Based on her look when she saw him again, she plans on doing so.

I am also hoping that Dent is the one who kills Rebecca, while embracing his Two-Face alter ego! Would be so satisfying!

Superman & Lois: Season 3 Episode 12: Injustice: Review

Holy smokes! The penultimate episode of Superman & Lois sets the stage for, IMO, an adaptation of the Death of Superman story line!

Jordan getting full of himself is something I did not see coming! That kid's ego is massive right now! I cannot believe how much him and Sarah are at odds with each other. They really need to reconcile soon, I hate seeing them like this!

Jonathan getting treated better by Kyle at the firehouse was nice to see for a change, in Jonathan's defense. But I understand why it bothered him, and when Clark talked to Kyle about it, I was just glad that Kyle did not completely blow up at Jonathan. Kyle has shown excellent character growth this season.

The long awaited arrival of Lex Luthor was insanely awesome! Michael Cudlitz absolutely crushed it as Lex Luthor! I still prefer Eisenberg (Dawn of Justice and Zack Snyder's Justice League) at this point, but I have never been so terrified by a Lex Luthor until this episode!

Lex's master plan, which involves Bizarro, seems to be setting the stage for an adaptation of the Death of Superman story line from the comics! Bizarro continues to look more and more like Doomsday, and someone brought an interesting theory about the title of the next episode, which makes sense IMO.

The title of next week's episode is "What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger". Someone pointed out the fact that in the comics, and in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, whenever you try and kill Doomsday it only makes him stronger! Someone also predicted that Lex is going to kill Bizarro in the next episode, and be looked at as a hero by the general population! If that, and Superman dying, happens, that would be the greatest cliffhanger ever! Please do it CW!

I am so happy that this series got renewed for a 4th season, but I am sad that it is at the cost of all of the supporting actors! I really don't want to say goodbye to any of these characters, espicially General Lane, Lana, John Henry Irons, and Chrissy. but on the bright side, Sarah has been confirmed to be a recurring character next season. My prediction is that Superman will die next week, and that will be the cliffhanger. Next season, Jordan will be saving the world more often, but he will feel immense guilt for what he said to his dad, and will have all of these negative feelings about himself, which will cause him to be severely depressed. Sarah will visit him for a few episodes, and console him, and encourage him to keep doing what he's doing, and tell him that his dad would be proud of him.

It would not surprise me if Tal-Rho comes back next season, and helps Jordan bring Superman back to life! I am also happy that Lex has been confirmed to be a regular character next season! I hope he continues to be a ruthless and intimidating villain!

So many possibilities going forward! Love this show so much!

Superman & Lois: Season 4 Episode 10: It Went By So Fast: Review
